Great Movie!!
I enjoyed it a lot!! Lil Mama played her part!!
shareLil Mama was great! I had to remind myself that I wasn't actually watching Left Eye!
"Fate rarely calls upon us at a moment of our choosing."
Right I agree!! They did awesome job with get this movie together! I also felt that Drew Sidroa(hope I spelled that right) played her part as well but lil mama just did the thang that was so amazing about it!
shareI enjoyed the movie too, I think everyone did a great job.

Amen!^
shareIt was very well made and true to their story. Long live Left Eye!
Dammit Carol Sue, where is the vodka?!
Lil Mama held her own for sure. All of them were great.
shareYeah she sure did and yes they all were great.
shareThe best thing about it was how so many people were against her playing Lisa to the point were they were downright mean to her.
Then she comes to set and magic happens. Perfect casting choice.
Wow I didn't even know that and like you said she did that. Yes the did a great job choosing who they felt was fit for each role. This movie was better then that Aayliah movie on Lifetime they really didn't take their time like they did this one.
shareWow I didn't even know that
You got that right she sure did!! They tried too hard with the Aaliyah and you are right too I was looking for more. I didn't get the chance to see the movie of Whitney from some I heard it was good to them and some didn't like. They also did one of Brittney Murphy and that one was another horrible biopic movie too it was like the girl was trying to hard to act bubbly like her.
shareI like to pretend the Aaliyah biopic never happened, to be honest.
You should give Whitney a watch when you get the chance, perhaps you're going to like it. I felt they could have done so much more story-wise. We're talking about a woman with a rich career and a very eventful personal life ( however tragic a big portion of it was ). Also, prepare yourself for some really awful lip-syncing.
I've seen The Brittany Murphy story, too. I'm one of those people who only really noticed her after she did 8 mile, so I was expecting to learn something about her going into this movie. I can tell you it left me confused from the start to finish. The first half of it was really all over the place and very fast paced. It kind of leaves you feeling "well, what exactly am I even watching?". The second half just leaves kind of a bad taste in your mouth. The ending was, well, mysterious, as apparently was her death.
I went to check about it on their Imbd board and all I saw were conspiracy theories about "she's not dead, she's in Russia", "she was on drugs", "she was a prostitute", "her mother killed them both", so it's safe to say that was a bust, as was the movie. In the acting department as well, not just the story.
To this day CrazySexyCool is one of my favourites.
Lol right!!
