What if we're all being lied to?

Maybe Downey is back as Iron Man, not Dr. Doom, but they know they'll never be able to film two movies without someone leaking that he's in them, so they're misdirecting us.

I know, totally wild, completely unsubstantiated, and almost certainly false. But wouldn't that be something if it were the case?

I dont think thats out there. It's clever if thats what they are trying to achieve. Could blow up in their face too. Would they care that much about secrecy though? Bringing back RDJ as IRONMAN is marketing gold.

they aren't that creative
