Yours is an interesting opinion, and very different from mine. I don't think there are that many racists out there, and feel that's a vastly overblown scenario used to justify all sorts of nonsense. I don't honestly think too many people care about skin color, despite the media telling me everyday that white supremacists are the number one threat to my country's existence. I figure we elected Obama president twice, so there can't be *that* many racists out there. You seem to think otherwise, and believe there's a klansman around every corner. Who knows?
Most phenomenon have a short life cycle. Something is really hot for awhile, then it fades. The MCU is likely no different. It caught on, and suddenly all these people who had no interest in superhero films were clamoring to see the next MCU film. I doubt they'll ever catch that kind of lightning in a bottle again, but I also think as long as they make quality films, they'll have an audience.
If The Marvels is a great movie, it will appeal to people. If the new Captain America film is a great movie, it will appeal to people. I *don't* think it will ever appeal to you, because you seem to have your mind made up, and you'll let your perception of Disney's politics color your perception of their films. Me? I don't care. I don't like Disney's politics at all, but I love seeing good movies, and I don't care who makes them. I can disagree with the artist but love the art.
