Precisely. Somebody along the chain should've realized that joke was a bad idea and killed it. But sadly this sort of thing seems to be par for the course for Hollywood today.
There was a time when Hollywood at least was respectful toward Christians and Christianity, back in the days of films like Ben-Hur, The Robe and The Greatest Story Ever Told. Clearly we are well past that at this point though and have entered a time of open mockery and ridicule. It seems like the vast majority of the time now, when a Christian is even portrayed in a movie or show, he/she is either a charlatan scammer or a crazed lunatic.
