That all I can really say. Kidies might enjoy it but it's a little long at almost 2 hours. They could of easily cut out some pointless stuff to make it 90 minutes. The acting is ok. The CGI is decent. I LOL'd a few times. It's watchable once but barely.

I guess I ultimately had the same reaction as you: It's watchable once but barely. There is a decent Christmas movie buried somewhere in here but ultimately too many poor decisions were made to uncover it.
I kind of enjoyed it, but I was filing paperwork while watching it. But yeah, their Christian "joke" at the Christmas store kind of soured it for me. I get not all people celebrate Christmas for Christian reasons, and with Eddie being in it didn't expect it to be G-rated or anything, but thought it was pretty crummy they threw that in.

There was a time when Hollywood at least was respectful toward Christians and Christianity, back in the days of films like Ben-Hur, The Robe and The Greatest Story Ever Told. Clearly we are well past that at this point though and have entered a time of open mockery and ridicule. It seems like the vast majority of the time now, when a Christian is even portrayed in a movie or show, he/she is either a charlatan scammer or a crazed lunatic.
I want to see it.
shareIt had a good premise but totally failed in the execution. The last 30 to 40 minutes of the movie was just a mess and so chaotic that you couldn't tell what was going on but by then I didn't care what was going on.

You can see the money they pumped into effects - the little glass characters look great but they sure as hell didn't pump much into the writing.
One of the funniest guys around and I laughed, maybe once at something he said.
The end scene with the Englishman summed it up - it's like the on set janitor said, hey why don't you have this happen because it happens in other movies and the producer/director/writer were like, sure, why not.
Yep. It's like a Hallmark movie with a bigger budget. You watch it and it won't be remembered by the following day.
