anyone else want them all to die?

I guess the ending is supposed to make you feel happy that the 'protagonists' survive, but once it was known that they were infected, i just wanted the normal humans to slaughter them all.
By staying alive, they pose a threat to civilisation and should be killed. Also what kind of life is that living under ground?
Why cant they travel to an un infected city and blend in with normal people?

No, I didn't want them all to die. Why should they? They are minding their own business, not hurting anyone (self defense doesn't count). And the reason why they can't move away and 'blend in' as you put it, is that they are infected and the 'virus' is airborne.

And normal people make them angry. And you wouldn't like them when they're angry (Bill Bixby: circa 1978).

More plot holes than cheese after a rats fed on it.

I was losing braincells watching it. Everything said, done, shown. Was just for convenience to be unravelled seconds later.

For example the doorway to the bunker had a ladder with quite a distance to climb up as we'd seen earlier. There is an airshaft in their small bunker which is arms length from the outside and barely covered. A couple of pieces of wood and a grate. The ground is flat outside. The bunker is small. The little girl gets out of the bunker to find her parents, who are at the "air shaft". She runs and runs from the bunker door shouting, they do not hear her. She spins around and all of a sudden they appear as if they only just heard her.

The bunker door they tried to protect so much, keep quiet around, and was so high, but they didn't care about making noise, or letting smells out of the air shaft. An air shaft so big a woman could fit through it, but not a 6'3 man, so possibly a 6-foot tall man could climb through, or even drop a grenade in because it was barely covered. List goes on, and that's just the bunker door and the airshaft.

reply

True. They were a danger to humanity. They had to go.
