I Liked It. You May Not.
Experimental cinema? Avant garde? I don't really know what one calls this. I don't know of any other film like it-- not to say there isn't one-- and it's almost impossible to describe in normal film terminology. And if I could describe it, I wouldn't, because you need to go into this blind.
It isn't for everyone, and if you're looking for a film with a normal narrative thread, or even normal cinematography, you should look elsewhere.
The only thing I will add is that I feel this film can only work in a theater setting. In a theater it was gripping and powerful; at home I think it would be a bore.
