While I know it's only movie make believe, I was still sufficiently nauseated that I had to look away.

Body horror I can take, but the taboo against coprophagia runs deeper still. YUCK!

It reminded me of a scene in Cheap Thrills where two characters eat something similarly disgusting. I won't say what it was for those that haven't seen it, but needless to say you probably should eat before (or after) watching either of those films.

I gagged a little watching that scene. Made me wonder if anyone watching it actually threw up in the cinema, possibly leading to a chain reaction of vomiting.

But he won. Thru his perseverance and that was part of showing his resolve. A totally unremarkable person who does something extraordinary that most people couldn't go thru with (like his cowardly mate). Kinda reminds me of "The Count of Monte Christo" in how far someone will go.
