Ray asks a good question. Spoilers
Why DID the cop kill Gavin. He's worried he might rat that there was in fact, heroin in Rays bowels- that it wasn't just glucose in some sort of practical joke? Why would Gavin do that- the ultimate window to get off scott free from the police, he'll just throw that away? How does throwing him of the roof of the hotel onto some mob goon's car, remotely tie up a loose end? All it does is draw attention to something he is planning on winding down to a mix-up. Was his plan contingent upon the Lithuanian driving off with the body? I get his explanation is that he just don't like the working class, but surely that is not really his main motivation right?
I know it's a weird lack of suspension of disbelief on my part, considering it's a film where a man eats his own *beep* but i just don't get it. It seemed like such a generic "who else knows about this" murder sequence that it stood out how little sense it made.
Great film regardless.
