Why Kill The Cat?
He sought revenge against the kids. So what did he have against the kitty?
shareWell, that, and the cat was there, too, on the day of the party.. so, I kind of figured, besides the nose thing, that he killed it for that reason, too.
shareIt was all fun until the bloody clown hurts the cat. Oh yes, I hate clowns, in my country some of them own circus, and they are terrible animal abusers.
Please excuse my terrible redaction, english is not my native language.
Well, everytime a cat (or dog)appears in a horror movie it usually gets horribly slaughtered, so I'm kind of used to it.
Of course, no cat was really killed, but it's kind of hypocritical what is considered "politically incorrect" in horror movies. You can't show the breasts of a 20-year-old actress if the frickin' CHARACTER she is playing is "underage". You can't show a rape scene, even though no one is actually raped any more than anyone is actually murdered.
Personally, I'd like to see a lot less more rape (make it both genders, so it's not "misogyny") and lot less cat killing in horror. Horror movies are about breaking some taboos, so they ought to break actual TABOOS.
It seemed really gratitous to me. All the more so because he was way more vicious with the poor cat than with some of the kids responsible for his death.
shareCuriously the Cat's death was not in the version on Chiller. It just showed Stitches approaching the poor Kitty with a Knife.
shareFor the 9 lives gag. It was funny tho
shareAll because when he released his magic nose, the cat started playing with it. Poor cat. :(
shareI think this may have been an "in joke" for Ross Nobel.
He hates cats, or at least he has said that he hates cats.
