This movie affected me so deeply that I actually wrote my 1st review for a film on IMDB for the sheer fact that I WANT TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO GO SEE THIS MOVIE.

Anyway, this is the official thread where you pop in and say 'I'm getting his music too'.
Whether buying cds, shopping for vinyl's, 8tracks, cassetes, or downloaded from the internet, say so. Just say that this movie inspired you to dig deep for his music.

I would think almost everyone who sees this movie will then go and "get" his music somehow.
Great documentary, amazing man and great music.

Yeah. I bought the two CDs, the soundtrack and the movie. All new, so I hope that he sees royalties. Although, I got the sense that his life wouldn't have changed all that much much even if had had found fame and fortune.

That's my new favorite camel.

Funny thing, I didn't even know about this movie but heard the soundtrack first because I work at a Independent record store. So when I picked this CD out of the new pile my boss got (YES A PILE OF CDS A WEEK) I heard it and instantly loved his voice and his stories. The next time I went to work I asked my boss about it and he told me about the movie. I unfortunately didn't get to see it in theaters because it wasn't playing around me. I finally saw the movie last night and it made me smile and gave me hope for the future of humanity once again.

I got Cold Fact after seeing this movie from Amazon's MP3 Store for $6.99. Great album. I found a copy of the soundtrack laying around at my college's radio station and asked the manager if this was the station's copy. She said I could have it.

Still have yet to get Coming from Reality.
