Rodriguez on the Jeff Probst show

Rodriguez continues to impress me not just with his talent, but by how humble and thankful he is. In this clip, Jeff Probst goes to a man in the audience from South Africa, who confirmed that Rodriguez was THE folk singer of the era to South Africans, bigger than Dylan, and that he sang of freedom and that's what they wanted.

As Jeff walks back to his seat, he asks Rodriguez a question. When Rodriguez gets the microphone, the first thing he does his thank that man in Afrikaans (and tells us that was 'thank you' in Afrikaans.) THEN he answers Jeff's question.
