But at one point in the film they're confused as to why the writing credits for Cold Fact included Jesus Rodriguez, and another name.
This wasn't cleared up, was it?

There is no mystery, And no, it wasn't cleared up in the film either. According to this article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rodriguez_(musician)his given name is Jesus Rodriguez. His parents nicknamed him Sixto because he's the 6th child in his family. I would assume Sixth Prince is also a reference to being the 6th child.
