A Third (unfinished) Album from 1973?

In the movie a couple of songs are played and its mentioned they are from a Third "Unfinished" album from 1973.

During the main film that third album is never discussed. In fact, Producer Steve Rowland chokes up as he plays the final cut from the second album and he says that not only was it the last cut on that album, but "the last song Rodriguez ever recorded". It's also mentioned that the artist was cut from his record label soon after its release.

So who produced this 3rd album? Where? With what equipment and funds? Remember, in 1973 there were no home computers to mix on and home recording studios were very expensive. In the movie, the tracks sound pretty professional and complete.

They probably recorded more songs than was needed for the "Coming from reality" album. Perhaps these unreleased tracks were considered for a follow-up album that never happened?

In South Africa we have a greatest hits cd that has hits from his first and second albums and 3 or 4 previously unreleased songs. 'I'll slip away' and 'Street boy' are 2 of them. Need to get out my cd to see what the others are. The cd was released before the whole '98 tour. I think I read somewhere that they were published in the late 70's when he toured Australia, as promotion for the tour.

That is only one of many unanswered questions in this film. the filmmakers were very lax about delving into his background. No or barely a mention of a wife/wives, barely any family background or origin, conflicting reports of where he and his daughters lived and for how long, etc.
This is lazy documentary making.
