INVICTUS makes no reference to SUGAR MAN
Invictus is an inspiring movie centered on a great man, but after watching Searching for Sugar Man (2012), I am conflicted.
INVICTUS makes no reference to SUGAR MAN.
If the movie only focused on Mandela and his influence of the Black perspectives of this period, perhaps this could be forgiven; except that the White South African perspective is also given as a primary focus.
At least a single track of Stephen Segerman's "Sugar Man" might have been included in the score and acknowledged. How could such an artifect be entirely neglected from the story? There was ample runtime.
I don't mean to seem too cynical, but surely some of the Invictus production team might have recognised or protested this oversight?
