Big fan

I was introduced to Rodriguez when I was about 5 years old (1981 in Australia), listening to my dad playing the Cold Fact album and really loving the tune Sugar Man. As I got older I really appreciated his music more and more. When I first had the internet put on at home in about '97, Rodriguez was one of the first subjects I went exploring. Info was scarce and it was the South African web site mentioned in the film that was my only source of info. I followed their progress over the years to find him and bring him to public attention, and the resurgence of Rodriguez in the industry, so seeing the film from these South African's perspective was enjoyable. I have since had the pleasure of seeing him on stage myself on 2 occasions. Great songwriter finally getting some reward for the dues he's paid.
