Shouldn't this movie be in that Top 250 list ?

I'm not talking about the movie's quality
I mean, this movie has a 8.2 score while the 250th movie in that list has a 8.0 score.
Maybe documentaries are not 'allowed' to be in that list...

It's not just the score, it's about how many votes it got. I would assume that most documentaries have relatively few votes compares to movies in the Top 250.

you need to get a certain treshold of votes to even be elegible and then amount of votes does increase your weight in the list, so more rated movies, even with lower rating, can get higher up the list.
documentary movies often recieve relatively little ratings and thus are mostly not evne elegible of getting there.

the rating gate is a good thing. ive seen some movies with 100 ratings and a perfect 10 score, yeah thats surely unbiased at all!

I'm not sure on what thread I should really write this, but it's not often I watch a film and feel compelled to tell everyone how good it is but I wanted to with this film.

I thought this was a massive discovery, a brilliant film that made me feel that there are still decent people in the fame hungry world that we live in. I can only imagine how pleased the film makers, researchers, support band members and family were to find out everything that became apparant from this film.
I don't really like his style of music, but that did not detract from being able to enjoy it and feel the emotion that comes from the story unravaling.

This film will stay long in my memory
