What happened to Jordan Ladd? looking not so good...

Jordan Ladd is looking a little weathered... not sure if it was her makeup in this movie or what but she is looking a lot older. What happened?

I was wondering the same then I realized she is 37 but she does have the money for botox, injections and plastic surgery so I was wondering if they made her look this way on purpose or she is aging gracefully

reply

Wow, she's 37? She looks older than that. I don't know if she looks old or if her skin is bad. It looked as if her makeup was covering up scars but they they didn't use the right shade of foundation.

She was in a movie called "Grace" and Jordan didn't look like this at all.

you're right she does look older than 37 and the question is did the movie purposely make her look older with make up but she seems quite dolled up to me for a movie trying to make someone look old, nice clothes, nice hair? Maybe she smokes and aged bad

reply

Did anyone consider that maybe she was supposed to look like she let herself ago and that's why the husband very easily fell for the young and attractive nanny? You saw the mom knocking back all those drinks. It's obvious her looks are faded, her husband is ignoring her and her son loves his nanny more than her, his mom, and that this is taking an emotional toll on her. She's an unhappy, bitter person. That might have something to do with her looks.

I don't see her looks having anything to do with the story. However, she actually does appear to be at least 8 years older than she actual age. I thought she was about 44 or 45. She sure doesn't look 37.

She's definitely visibly aged since her last good films. She looks like she might be a smoker. ? But I agree with the reply about her looks fading for plot purposes. If she looked like a Botox'd supermodel, he wouldn't have had much obvious reason to go for a mousy, plain nanny. I do like Jordan Ladd though, and hope she's a little more fresh looking going forward, especially if she's starring in something where she's perceived to be commanding attention the whole movie.

It was the hair. The color, the style, the length - all aged her. I'm not one of those women who think a woman should chop off her hair at a certain age, but certain woman do look a little haggard with really long hair (Courteney Cox comes to mind - she would look great if she cut her hair to be shoulder length).

reply

You are so right about the hair. The hair is all wrong for her. Also some people age well and some don't ! Just now started to watch the movie and will see how it all goes.

Since someone said she smoked plus she probably sunbathes, that will affect her looks + she has had cosmetic procedures - lips and Botox I think. I personally don't like that hairstyle on anybody, so it is not a positive feature to me, but I think she looks OK.

That botox makes people look like those creepy aliens in Sleepwalkers.
