They cast a British comedian
...and gave him virtually no funny lines to say. I find that quite funny in itself. Although this film was pretty low on humour in general, they literally gave the rest of the cast more comedic lines than the guy who is actually a comedian.
The film overall was very mediocre. Pretty uninspired plot, way too many characters on the screen, as mentioned before not very funny, and it couldn't hide some obvious wokeness either. I'm glad it flopped.
