... 😂 Fans were crying for the original crew and here we are. Another film for them to complain about till they are dead. At least Tron Legacy was excellent, oh and Bladerunner 2049 which was better than the original IMO.

They should have completely did a reboot for Ghostbusters but as a TV show.

The fans weren't begging for a film with the originals tacked on. They thought they could still make a film centered around the original characters. Running around catching ghosts wasn't even necessary, obviously ghost busting would occur but there are a million different ways to have their stories develop. This wasn't about the originals they just kind of showed up.
