Good movie!

The film was directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson and stars Taissa Farmiga, Malin Akerman, Adam Devine, Alia Shawkat, and Nina Dobrev. It is about a young woman who finds herself and her friends trapped in a 80s slasher movie that her late mom starred in. She and her friends have to work together with the characters in the movie to avoid being killed off. The Final Girls has a lot of fun with its premise and the audience has fun watching it. The film is funny but still works as a horror movie too. There is a nice emotional core to the story that adds more heart to it than you might expect. I enjoyed The Final Girls and would recommend it to anyone who likes clever, funny horror films. 8/10 is my rating.
