So surprised how much I loved this

I rented off Redbox free rental and had extremely low expectations, but really enjoyed this from start to finish.
The concept of 2015 kids getting trapped with 80's teens in a 1980's horror flick is so fun and original.

Being an 80's teen myself, (once upon a time) I was afraid it would just crap all over my beloved memories of those flicks, but they really did a great job with it.

It's funny, there's suspense...and I even cried towards the end in a very touching scene between 2 main characters. (I won't give spoilers, but I don't think I can listen to "Bette Davis Eyes" the same after this.)

All the actors were fun to watch and the ending was just great. Loved it! I would also love if they continued where they left it off and made a sequel.

From a very bitter and jaded movie viewer, this is very highly recommended!

I was surprised by how invested I was in the film and its characters by the end. I also cried way more than I expected to (during what I imagine were the same scenes as everyone else). I liked it enough that I'm thinking of buying it; it was very Cabin in the Woods-esque. Definetly worth the watch.

I never buy movies anymore, but this is definitely going to be a Christmas gift to myself this year. I could watch this over and over again....And I probably will lol.
