A trilogy. I think it has the possibility to generate a cult following to see if these people will actually make it out or not and plus it brings something unique to a popular genre of slasher films. Imagine the third one being a Freddy vs Jason copy with a character similar to Freddy like this one to Jason, now that would be tubular.

I like this idea! There are so many greats they can get inspired from: Freddy, Michael, The Tall Man, Trolls, Pumpkinhead etc. The biggest hurdle is that the films centric arc was Max's relationship with her mother. However, the production could intentionally pull a "Halloween 3" and just completely go in a different direction than their initial installment.
