Time loop.

At the beginning, the van with the counselors appears every 90 minutes (in real time). That means that the-movie-within-the-movie is in a time loop. However, the gang spends several hours in the camp (until night time) and the loop never resets. How come?

When the van appears, they had to go with them in order to finish the movie - that is why the van would reappear every 92 minutes, because they didn't go with them.
