I teared up at the scenes with Max and her mom/Nancy towards the end

How about you?

reply

No because it was stupid and nonsensical. But you're white so I get it.

what a loser response to honest question. get lost.

I didn't tear up (not much of a crier, unless it has to do with cute dogs or adorable small children), but I definitely felt invested in their relationship. They had such a touching, realistic bond - the mom was a dreamer who deeply loved her daughter but had trouble providing, and Max ended up being the responsible one at a (too young) age, but adored her mom anyways. They seemed more like best friends than mother/daughter, which caused problems, but they were really close. Can you tell it got to me? lol.

They're coming to get you, Barbara!

reply

I did surprisingly. I loved it. I don't think they really look alike but hey,who knows what the dad was meant to look like?

reply

I didn't tear up, but I loved their relationship.

Yeah, I did. Guilty. :-)

Big time. I tear up hearing Bette Davis Eyes now.

reply

Didn't quite tear up but it was a pleasant surprise to have a horror flick with some HEART and emotion for a change. That was an unexpected bonus.

"The future is tape, videotape, and NOT film?"

reply

I did and that's what made me fall in love with this movie even more!

reply

Yeah those last few scenes just made me depressed. Think of Max too she had to see her Mom die TWICE.
