Agreed. Though I'm not sure what good it would have done to cut down on the padding. The characters never really progress, nor are they presented with the kinds of complication that they feel obligated to overcome. The movie is just a series of 'skits' only connected by the fact that they all use the same characters, and the premise is kept intact. Kind of like a sitcom, if you think of it that way. Although, each episode of a sitcom usually relies on some kind of complication.
I rated it a 6 in fairness to the premise. It had a real potential to be a great film if they'd just expanded their ideas more. The lack of plot makes it incoherent, and better suited to a series of YouTube videos than a full-length feature.
I imagine that it would have been hilarious to pitch: "There are these 4 dudes who go around acting like 'big kids', disrupting the everyday lives of the very people that they feel detached from. They're so lost in their own sheltered lives that even the slightest confrontational stimulus makes them anxious. Nothing else really happens, I suppose. The end?". In that sense it probably deserves a 5. Still watchable, though.
