Question for THE LADIES

Would it creep you out more that a small child crawls into bed with you or that your male "friend" has a webcam that "automatically" records your videochats and then CONTINUES to record you as you sleep in your own room? The girl in this is either extremely gullible and naive or she REALLY underreacts to some highly questionable behavior. Of course, her friend is so smooth he deflects it all with a joke about her farting in her sleep. What a charmer!

This is really a weird-ass scene.

I'm a 20 year old male, but I guess I'll answer this since no one else has.

Its all a matter of how closely connected she was with these individuals. It depends on how long and how well she's known the male friend and the child. She's probably known her male friend well enough to know that his behavior is in good spirit and play, and she does kind of like him enough to let him come over and eat half of the food they have. But at the same time, one moment he says his computer automatically records his chats with her, but moments later admits that he could set it up on her laptop and computers to record things around the house, giving away that his computer does not automatically record his chats. The child sleeping next to her is creepy, and I kind of wish the film addressed this a bit more about what he intended to do other than being creepy, but after that scene, he stops anything sexually creepy towards her. The male "friend" had good intentions I believe, but it still doesn't deny the fact that filming someone while they're sleeping is creepy. Also, he's even more of a creep for breaking into her house late at night just to scare her while she's vulnerable in bed. I'm sure back in the '80s and '90s, it was a cliche thing for boyfriends and girlfriends to sneak into each others houses through their windows late at night. But I don't remember them ever confirming if they were actually dating or just really attracted to one another. If they were just friends, then he needs to take it down a few notches.

True, though I would still agree with the conclusion that Alex is being naive, not recognizing how Ben's innocent playfulness has changed to satisfy (at least somewhat) selfish typical teenage hormones.

In addition to those, Ben tries to be smooth after the party (at the beginning of the movie) by asking, "Do you want to come sit closer?" with the claimed reason being "I just hate yelling." Next, both go to the treehouse, where they first encounter Robbie, which leads to Alex walking him home and Ben complaining sarcastically, "Thanks for cockblocking me."

Anywho... Is it creepier for some child about half your age, you barely know to cuddle with you while sleeping or a close/longtime friend to be misleading and fraudulent about having a strong attraction to you?

Probably the former. However, the latter, once realized, would be more hurtful, I assume, that is, unless you were doing the same. 
