It's been a while since I've seen this movie and I was just discussing it with a friend. Is that weird kid Robbie supposed to be the baby Hunter who was abducted in PA2? Thanks.

Robbie is not Hunter. Wyatt is Hunter.
Robbie's origins are never explained; the only thing that is evident is that he is brought into the story to introduce Toby the demon to Wyatt in a nonthreatening way.

It doesn't make any sense. If Katie abducted Hunter, how did he end up as Wyatt and adopted by these people??
The movie was idiotic.
The big moments are gonna come. You can't help that. It's what you do afterwards that counts.

Why she did this was never revealed. But I strongly felt it was to help elude police.
The police clearly had Katie & Hunter's images on video. So if she gave him away, for a while at least, it would make them much much harder to find.
Plus, there seemed to be an element of 'free will' on Hunter's part to *join*.
We hear Katie/the demon say this to him near the end of the film: "I'll here until you're ready, Hunter." "You're almost ready, Hunter."
Lastly, there was the necessity of the *virgin sacrifice* of Alex.
Is there any reason that Robbie couldn't be Katies son? She was preggers from Mica but no one knew?
Or have I majorly missed a blatant reason why thy couldn't of been possible...?
Sorry if I'm being dumb here, it's 02:38 and just watched the extended version and lost footage of PA4 so a little frazzled atm, too many questions that this film raises..
So;
Just to throw it out there, I know the computer is password protected or whatever,but when major weird *beep* started happening you'd make sure you watched the footage asap. Especially since the young lass and lad talk and see each other 24/7 nearly... or again am I too frazzled to of spotted the obvious?
