Katie and Robbie could have had some kind of conflict regarding Wyatt/Hunter and Robbie could have hurt Katie somehow.

I felt it was just a red herring, a ruse, to get Robbie into the house.

I doubt Katie ever went to the hospital at all, the ambulance etc......it was all done by the coven.

I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.

I agree. It was a red herring. A necessary one to the plot. Robbie needed to tell Alex that his mother had been taken to hospital.
