Too derivative
It starts out like Predator and then becomes something like Aliens meets Poltergeist. It even had the "Newt" character from Aliens in the little girl who knew the shortcut and all the local mystical stuff.
I also thought the android energy field super soldier or whatever it was tried too hard to be too many things and wasn't any one thing enough to be believable. The ice walkers from game of thrones make more sense.
