i have the right to defend my judgement even though it's stupid and ridiculous.

Not trying to come off as rude but Netflix din't make this, Universal and Legendary did.

Yep - Universal made it and realized it made a giant horrible mistake by producing a tard.

Netflix was eager to pick it up knowing that its audience would eat it up and like it, too.

Nope, Legendary made it, Universal was going to be only the distributor. And Legendary has released many, many films much worse than "Spectral". The lack of star power or a franchise behind is what made Legendary afraid of releasing it. By that rule, Legendary should have never released movies like "Warcraft", "Krampus", "Blackhat" "Jack the Giant Slayer", Jonah Hex", etc.

Didn't America just elect a tard to the White House.

Netflix has made a ton of quality films... This just isn't one of them. However, it was a good move to unload some of that unlimited cash from their Treasure Chest and purchase the rights to show this. Netflix keeps impressing me with their decisions. More with Series than film but they're coming around on those too.
