I liked it, but actually have no idea why.
Nothing is really great about the movie.
It is ok.
Right?
But there is something that made me like it.

Is it the cheesy story we have seen before, but with ghosts?
The awesome but not really original soundtrack?
The decent/meh acting?
What about the maybe unintentionally 80-early 90's action movie feel?

Or is it because I smoked some weed before watching it?

I don't know.

But hey, who didn't enjoyed the scene with the superduper laser gun?

I think, maybe, it was well made. Good acting, good cinematography. I can't put my finger on it either. However, I do feel that it was a well made movie.

Just to add, cause I'm watching it right now, the CGI and weaponry was good too.
