The movie ruined the movie. But yeah that moustache was just ridiculous, and one of the main reasons I couldn't buy into anything I saw in this film, as I already realised it was going to be of the quality of a student film...and it turned out to be a collection of student films.

Koalas are telepathic. Plus, they control the weather.

The mustache was funny. I guess they couldn't pay the guy enough to shave. Or maybe worse they didn't see anything wrong with it.
