The succubus...

She kills you if you want her, she kills you if you don't want her... Psh. Women. Just can't win with them.

And the flowers are STILL standing!

I don't know though, I WANT to say that I the guy wearing the glasses didn't try to run that maybe she'd have let him go? Or perhaps just kept him alive or something. Maybe she has actually...

reply

I don't think she wanted to originally kill him. She wanted to PLEASE him and that was all. To serve him. When she tried to and nothing happened (he didn't get hard), she was crushed. She felt like she failed and he didn't like her and then when he tried to run away after that, she turned on him (out of complete rejection).

reply

She never killed him. He was carried off, presumably to father her little succubuslings, if that's what she is.
I don't think she killed him at all.

reply

That's what I thought. And in mid-flight he dropped his special glasses.

reply

Hmmm ... I thought she was pissed because he wasn't interested in her. Which is why after she looked at him... with that face of hers.... she says, "....no like?" and that's why he was apologizing and she scurried off and starting shrieking. Hence his even crazier freak out and then booking it out the door for help again.

But I gather, she was like, "If I can't have you, nobody can!" lol

reply

Yeah, there's no way she didn't kill him.

And the flowers are STILL standing!

reply

I personally think that if she was angry, she would have killed him, or at least given him a serious injury. I feel as though his rejection saddened her, because she started crying. I almost felt bad for her, really.

reply

doesn't she need an incubus to father her offspring? I didn't think a human would work for that

According to the Malleus Maleficarum, or "Witches' Hammer", written by Heinrich Kramer (Institoris) in 1486, a succubus collects semen from the men she seduces. The incubi or male demons then use the semen to impregnate human females, thus explaining how demons could apparently sire children despite the traditional belief that they were incapable of reproduction. Children so begotten – cambions – were supposed to be those that were born deformed, or more susceptible to supernatural influences. The book does not address why a human female impregnated with the semen of a human male would not produce a regular human offspring, although after transferring the male semen to the Incubi it is believed the semen is altered to match the genetic material of the Succubus and the incubi before being transferred to a human female host. But in some lore the child is born deformed because the conception was unnatural.

actually I thought its translation was "hammer of sorceresses", I wasn't aware one could access data from it without actually having it, but I guess someone must have digitized it, so the female takes the semen and the male uses it, obviously at some point the semen is altered, maybe by a virus? I tend to think they are related to vampires, and I believe vampirism is caused by a virus, so maybe vamps and succubi and incubi have the same origins, but I don't recall succubi or incubi having to feed on blood like vampires do, I thought they fed on energy

She raped him and eventually bit off his penis and killed him. Just like a female spider does.

reply

He's still living with her somewhere...hope those crazy kids are working things out; marriage can be hard work!

reply

No. She killed the first two because they were asshats. She killed Clint because he "rejected" her. She was upset because the one she actually liked apparently didn't return her affection.

Prof. Farnsworth: Oh. A lesson in not changing history from Mr. I'm-My-Own-Grandpa!

reply

She FELT rejected when he didn't get hard when she went down on him and then when he freaked out again and tried to crawl away, that's when she took him away. No longer to please him but most likely to kill him.

reply

she had the best segment in the whole movie. Lilith is a very hot succubus

Rob Zombie is one of the greatest directors today

reply

Must admit, I didn't think she killed him, but just carried him off to the 'nest'. Cos if she wanted to kill him, she could have done it there and then, like the others, she didn't need to carry him away to do it somewhere else, cos she made no attempt to fly off with the others.

reply

She was a harpy, bro. Not a succubus.

reply

Could very well be

reply

lol you guys are all wrong..She was a vampire. Succs and harpies don't have teeth like that nor do they drink your blood like she was doing to the one she had on the floor. Know your creatures folks

reply

Yeah-- succubus, homie.

Blood drinking is in no way, shape, or form a trait exclusive to vampires; blood being considered the essence of life being a motif ubiquitous among various cultures in the world.

I.E. Demons, vampires, lycanthropes, ghosts, supernatural cryptids, aliens, an assortment of mythological beasts, merfolk, goblins, imps, rusalkas, an assortment of sprites and faeries, and deities are all commonly said to consume blood in one form or another somewhere in the world, in accordance to some folkloric beliefs.

The woman in the short isn't out for blood; she's out for sex and she's baiting for it specifically, as is revealed by the bit where she chases Clint down.

If a horrid monster drinks a little blood while she's raping and murdering a victim, the blood drinking is kinda sorta a horrific detail, not a focal point of the act-- especially when the act ends with some genitals getting ripped off: She's a succubus, bro. She wants dat sweet seeeeeeeeeed.

If a horrid monster gets a little sex in the name of drinking some blood, with drinking blood being the obvious point of the mission, "vampire" is a better nomenclature.

Back at you, folk.

reply

Sounds like you're saying vampires can't drink blood and have sex at the same time.

LOL Met a lot of them to know all that for sure then, have you? ;)

reply

Vampires know how to communicate with language. They don't have weird feet and legs, they don't have a mouth full of jagged teeth and they don't have any reason to *beep* and then kill. She'd just kill them all.
