Really liked it, was glued to the screen....

I didn't have any idea what I was getting myself into, but I couldn't help but watch each story with such anticipation!!! I thought most of the stories were very clever and extremely well done, especially with the "found footage" aspect, and I really like the mix we got from different horror genres!!! It was entertaining as hell, had a few great shock/scare moments, and overall, was one of the better Anthologies Ive seen! Super solid 9 out of 10 and to make sure I do not ruin the experience, I will be adding VHS 2 on next years horror marathon, as I would like to let the first film resonate and stand out on its own!!

What say you about VHS???

Oh I travel, a sort of licenced troubleshooter.

I thought it sucked! I wasted too much time trying to watch it. The only story that was decent was the young doctor talking to his "girlfriend" (s) who was seeing ghost.

reply

Well, it's next year: did you get to watch VHS 2?

You are sin.

reply

I did! And I really enjoyed it!!! I haven't had much time to post this year's film count like last year, but its still going strong!

I enjoyed the first story the most. The recording eye, awesomely done! All the stories definitely kept my interest overall and I would definitely own both parts 1 and 2!! Part 3? VHS Viral will be on next years list 100 percent so Ill let you know in another year! haha!!!

Yeah, I think the first one is the best one of that series. Though I also like the zombie apocalypse from the zombie's point of view. Pretty interesting.

I guess we'll catch up again next year. Ha.

Really enjoyed it as well, thought every story had something about them, creepy and interesting.

I also liked the way there was too much information and didn't delve into the plot too much gave it something.

That is what I have dug about both VHS 1 and 2. The stories are done so well that they pull you in and keep you interested and creeped out before it reveals what it's about. Awesome techniques and most short story flicks don't have the great buildup like that!
