Guy downstairs spoilers

During the wrap around story, when two of the thieves were downstairs and one of them see the naked guy downstairs, who was that naked guy? Was it one of the thieves who was killed by the old man?

Since the guy was still upstairs, dead and fully clothed, at that moment, it's just a case of sloppy writing, just like this sergment where, without spoiling it (so to speak), the ending explains bugger all…

I wondered about it, too. It was too intriguing to just never mention again. The only thing I could come up with was perhaps there were multiple horrors/monsters in that country house to kill intruders. That old man thing didn't seem like the type to keep a "pet" in the basement.

At least it lead to the best line in the entire film in my opinion:

" Gary... GARRRY!!! There's a *beep* man down here!!" Lol. Gets me every time.

It seems like there was more than one guy in the house. The dead guy in the TV room and some monster in the basement.
