Things just didn't make any sense
First of all, any movie that relies on jump-scares to be scary is lame. My fav. horror movie was Ju-On The Grudge for a long time, it was one of the first to scare me and I heard this movie is so scary, it keeps you up at night... really? Explain me these things that made no sense for me and I will change my opinion if you succeed.
- The first one, the succubus... meh, it was ok. Was the only one so far that made sense, but it was nothing special.
- The second one... Here things go down...
1) She is a lesbian/bisexual that hates her husband? Why would you be married in the first place then? Isn't it easier to run away with her girlfriend instead of doing this complicated murder with so many openings of them getting caught?
2) Why didn't the girlfriend kill him in the first night? If the goal was to get rid of him... why not at that time?
3) Why steal 100 dollars? It makes the whole operation a danger because he accused her of stealing it.
4) Why did SHE insisted in calling the cops? Not once, but TWICE? Wouldn't that have *beep* up EVERYTHING if he indeed decided to call the cops?
- the third one... quite lame, what she expected after filming him? To get out alive?
- the fourth one. Again stuff doesn't make sense...
1) So he lives like almost next door, and has two women, maybe more, living close to him and he NEVER gets caught by any of them when he leaves his room?
2) Why did the aliens let themselfs be known for days on end for absolutely no reason?
3) If the aliens needed her to be close to them to make her faint, why did the boyfriend encouraged her NOT to open her doors and NOT to look at them and NOT to make contact with them? Shouldn't it be the other way around?
Now, I'm watching the haunted house one, hopes it makes sense. So far, the only thing this movie has going for it is gore, but for the rest it's just weak bones...
