Written by 15 year olds..for 15 year olds???.

Why VHS???? ffs...

Characters half dimensional, no rhyme or reason for anything they do

Each 'story' was pointless and ended... pointlessly

No reason for this to be 'found footage' AT ALL

Gratuitous everything - swearing, penises, boobies...blood

How this was ever given the go ahead is embarrassing...and there is a sequel *SMH*

If you love movies, horror/thriller etc AVOID!!!!

I wouldn't wish this 90ish minute tripe on my enemy and you have no idea how much that is saying..

really? because i loved it! one of the best horror movies ive seen in a while.

there was no point to them thats the point its just a collection of short horror movies xD

Maybe you haven't seen many horror movies then....

Hey it's ok..just needed to vent after the time waste but each to his own...thankfully there is a place for everyone's opinion

It's an okay movie. I am a big fan of anthology horror films like Creepshow, Tales From the Crypt, Trilogy of Terror, The House That Dripped Blood, etc. Anthology films are my favorite horror subgenre so I couldn't help but have a soft spot for this film. I do realize it was kind of trashy and mindless but it's still rather entertaining. It isn't a horror classic by any mean but still worth watching 2 or 3 times.

Oh yeah! I love those movies too!
But from memory they had a connecting thread and each story was 'complete'.
I could be wrong though, there are always a few holes in these things (Loved Asylum btw)

Yes, they do all have a connecting thread except for Trilogy of Terror which is only the three stories. I love the anthology format so much that I'd be satisfied with almost any horror movie that follows it. Though this film isn't one of the best examples of an anthology horror movie, it doesn't pretend to be anything except mindless, trashy entertainment and that makes it more fun. I can see why it wouldn't be for everyone, though.

Trilogy Of Terror is awful... almost as bad as the V/H/S franchise

Did it occur to you that I might be with friends/family who chose to put it on because they heard some ok reviews? Sometimes it is worth taking a chance with people you respect.We discuss its merits and have laugh.
