McCarthy is the epitome of bad taste

Seriously. We must be living in biblical prophecy. When good things get demonized as bad. All the while, bad things get celebrated. That is modern times. In the cinema world that translates to media showing children being exploited and abused as comedy. Fat, tasteless dykes being considered "cool". Seriously. Hollywood has hit an all time low. And their audience now consists of dumbass people who are spawned from present generation of idiots brainwashed by corporate media and politics. There truly isnt any good to be found from today's media. Certainly not in the entertainment world. I am thankful for still having access to pre-millenium movies that were made by when producers still had moral principles.

Melissa McCarthy is a gifted actress with comedic timing and enough hutzpah to pull almost any movie into a good time. Unfortunately, she failed miserably this time. I feel like they writer's tried to recreate Thelma and Louise, the geriatric version, and failed miserably. So many disconnects in this movie. Not one storyline develops enough to take off an make a complete effort. Tammy is distraught, fed up with life, dealt a bad hand...not resolved. Susan Sarandon an alcoholic, in bad health, with her own issues somehow manages to end up teaching aerobics? Sandra Oh, whom I adore, and Kathy Bates....why? Lesbians? Why? Under the Tuscan Sun wasn't enough to cement the role for you? Needless asks unnecessary.
A total flop. I tried really hard to find something to like but found that I was bored and waiting for the end.
