Why do bad comedies always think we care about their drama!?

This terrible films tackles alcoholism and the end speech by Bates is cringeworthy, they cap off this terrible movie about Mcarthy acting like a dick the entire time, with some of the most corny scenes that belong in a mumble core film (and see as a Duplass is in this film and so is the corny indie music it might as well be).

Have audiences ever actually given a crap that the 'couple breaks up' and gets back together in the last 10 minutes? Has any one ever genuinely cared about the Drama of Adam Sandler and Mcarthy and Kevin James characters? Why are these broad comedy writers/directors so content on making 'nothing content'?

I disagree with you, the movie was surprisingly good and gave Melissa character depth. It made me cry
