Yet another movie ruined by elijah wood

This elijah wood (in lowercase out of disrespect) is an incredibly bad actor. I never thought I'd say it but he's probably even WORSE than justin "douche bag" long, that is saying A LOT!

I hated him in these silly Tolkien movies about some ring, he ruined the otherwise great Sin City and tonight I saw his wooden acting in Maniac.

What Uwe Boll is to directing, is what elijah wood is to acting.

Watching paint dry is more interesting than watching any elijah wood movie.

That guy sucks harder than a Nilfisk.

I thought he was wrong for this role? I think he's an ok actor. But just didn't see him so dark and so evil. He looks wrong. But he played the part surprisingly well. But I would of preferred a different actor for his role. Someone without the look of a young lad. Ok movie.

I haven't seen alot of his movies. He tends to be in things that I really don't care for. I thought he was perfect for Lord Of The Rings. But in this? He was not very convincing as a serial killer.

What made the original Maniac worthwhile was that it gave an always interesting bit player-character actor in Joe Spinell, a lead part. So that was lost here.

I agree! I haven't seen much of his work to be honest, but I saw his name and was worried he'd screw it up (and he did).

He doesn't play creepy, psycho, etc well. I think it's his voice and overall demeanor. He looked the part, but just about anyone can.

It would have been a better movie had someone else been the lead.
