The way he just rips off the scalp with one hand after making one tiny cut was comical. It looked cool, but it was so goofy and impossible that it wasn't scary or gross at all. The first thing that popped in my head was "Holy *beep* Elijah Wood must be ripped!"
shareFor me, the only scary scene was when all his previous victims are taunting him in the hallway as he's bringing "Anna" back to his bed. And of course when they all gang up on him and tear him apart, I thought that was a little creepy.
shareI agree that the being scalped alive scene was intense, but I think that first kill was what shook me the most. We were being introduced to seeing things from his eyes, so I was totally caught off guard when he softly speaks to that girl when she turns around to find him behind her and then rams that knife up through her mouth as she begins to scream. Dang, that seemed like such a sudden and harsh way to go! So from that point on, I was on edge as we saw things from his view, not knowing when he would make a sudden move.

I just watched it for the first time and MY GOD. That was the worst.
Well that and the first scalping scene. I didn't have any prior knowledge to what the movie is about except "First person serial killer" and man.. I was so unprepared.
