Favorite serial killer movie of all time?

Reviewed this on our youtube channel and asked "What is your favorite serial killer movie ever?" Mine would be Halloween, even though its not a true story. There are no rules here.

Halloween is my all-time favorite slasher movie. It's a great movie and a classic. My favorite serial killer movie would be The Strangler with Victor Buono. That was based on the Boston Strangler. The movie came out only 3 months before the real Boston Strangler was caught. Although, I think he was the wrong guy. The real Boston Strangler is either still out there or dead. If he died, I hope he suffered.

Probably my favorite Serial Killer movie is HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER (1986). Pretty creepy & well played my Michael Rooker. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099763/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_110

OTOH, if you classify THE DEVIL'S REJECTS(2005) as a Serial Killer movie, then that would be my fvorite. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0395584/?ref_=nv_sr_2

A close runner up, which is actually an Italian Giallo would be SLAUGHTER HOTEL (1971) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066827/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2 which is a lot of fun.

I agree with ChairmanMoe, 'Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer' has always been my favourite.
But I also liked 'Deliberate Stranger' and 'Zodiac'.

'It's the harbour towns that the grey metal ships call home'.

I think "Henry" is the best but the most accurate I've seen so far is a little no-budget film called "Frustré"

Michael Mann's Manhunter.

I give my respect to those who have earned it; to everyone else, I'm civil.
