The original is much better than this movie

The original is classic...Tom Savini effects at their best....this was the first movie after the original Dawn of the Dead that i saw and the effects are as good, if not better, than Dawn of the Dead....the scene where Savini gets his head blown apart with the shotgun is EPIC...the movie is worth buying just for that.....i have to admit though that the bluray was disappointing....its very GRAINY and the colors look faded and washed-out.....if it weren't for that, i would consider this one of my holy-grail horror movies....

I respect your opinion but I disagree. As much as I respect and have always liked the original, this remake is excellent. I don't think either one is better than the other. And I usually HATE remakes. This movie actually fixes an extremely weak plot point in the original film, too.
