Birthmark scene

I am currently watching and enjoying this show, although the birthmark scene with the woman who was a virgin upset me personally. Growing up with exactly the same facial disfigurement and teased relentlessly why did the writer choose to tease this woman. Pissed me off!!! Just sayin

They weren't teasing her about the birthmark she bought that up herself they were teasing her about being a virgin and it wasn't in a malicious way either.
