Recently I tried to watch this again to see if it was not as awful as I thought it was the first time but if any thing I dis liked it even more.

What on earth was the BBC thinking giving away money to a hack like Jane Campion?

Take you opinions somewhere else, Arse-wipe. You wouldn't know good TV, if it snuck up & Sodomised you with a golden-globe trophy.

Instead of being a smarmy hater why not explain to us what you don't like about this wonderful series? Or are you incapable of putting it into proper words?

The story is silly.
The writing is awful.
The directing is ridiculous.
The acting is horrible.
It all looks quite nice.

Will that do?

Agree wholeheartedly. I've seen worse....hard pressed to recall when though.

There are other programmes that could be described as even worse but I don't think any of those had the money tossed at them that TOTL did, and they didn't have shockingly over rated people behind them so expectation were never all that high. There were people who assumed TOTL could some how live up to the hype. More fool them!!

Sounds like you have a beef with Campion more than any kind of valid objective critique to offer.

She makes rubbish and almost all of it happens to be ridiculously anti men. I think both of those are reason enough to criticise her and her work.

Yes they should. Hopefully it opened enough eyes to Campion's lack of ability and she won't be allowed to waste millions more on her rubbish.
