Did Marcus drink any of the contaminated water at the end? We see him open the cap but never drink from the bottle. We know Camila is infected because we see her guzzle the water and she instantly breaks out but not Marcus.
Also, was this supposed to be a prequel to the first Cabin Fever, seeing as how it deals with Patient zero? Does Porter make his way to the woods where the first movie takes place?
He did not appear to drink the water as it still looked full. From what I can tell, he only opened the cap and then closed it back. Also, this may or may not be a goof but I noticed that the bottle was capped while they were talking and when Camila hinted toward the water, the camera showed that the cap was removed and sitting on the table, but Marcus never opened it.
What also intrigues me is how the water in the bottle stayed so clear after Porter had injected it with his blood. The amount of blood he injected into those two water bottle should be relatively small so RBC would have bursted and we should have seen the water looking somewhat murky red immediately, but it wasn't.
I don't think he injected that much blood.
shareI was wondering if him rubbing his eyes after handling the bottle would cause him to get infected because that was the only thing I saw him do.
