yeah me too... but what is it!!!??? I look forward to Joss being able to make anything he wants now that he had his Avengers success. a reboot Buffy movie someday... maybe... :) something epic with amazing special effects to destroy our memories of the original campy film.

he is just taking the same approach as he did in Cabin In The woods not giving away anything except a catchy one liner and request of the viewers faith and with each continued success that faith grows larger, its brilliant really, I can honestly say I had no idea what cabin in the woods was about and until The Avengers flew by my radar and loved the reward I got as I got the secret plot now anything Joss to me is worth my money and time.

I love the original Buffy. And I'm putting forward the opinion/theory that the movie Buffy wasn't campy but was just VERY early 90s, and at the time in the 90s the 1980s was only just wearing off. But I agree, I'd like a reboot as well!

sounds kinda like a soul-mates story, except instead of the typical--- you just have to trust they are the only two for each other -- you know they are truly connected. Could be very interesting. Though Hancock did something like that too, haha. I'm sure Joss will do it better.

Oh a TiMER had a soul mate premise too, with Anya from Buffy. Though of course that story was more about whether destiny is worth waiting for or not.

It seemed to me the least Joss Whedon-y off his films, I mean even with Shakespeare's 'Much Ado...' you could still see Joss Whedon all over it. But I love the fact that he made The Avengers yet he can still come up with something that epitomizes indie film-making sensibilities... albeit a transcendental, metaphysical indie-romance film!
