Thoughts about this nice and warm slow movie

They need 20 years to finally talk telepathically? Why? Nothing special happened to make their connection finally stable...

All the time while they were talking to each other I was thinking that the result was the same if they just used a handfree bluetooth earplug... It frequently seems like a phone call to me.

Even camming and sexting makes an appearance. Too bad this isnt a 80s or 90s movie cause then the movie would be predicting some near-future stuff. Of course not the same as the telepathy in the movie but still..

What the movie makes stand out is that it faithfully portrayes the feeling the 2 main leads have for each other. It helps that the main characters are not perfect both physically and mentally. Also nice to see the hot chick is a simple 'i need your attention and money girl' that doesn't know anything of the world around her and does not understand any joke. She's a simple *beep* doll and is portrayed as such. That shows some courage of the movie makers.

The end is somewhat silly but does add some action to the movie. Dont take it too seriously.

Also its a perfect example what one can do with normal moviebudget if not spend on one hyped actor, silly over the top misspent cgi and marketing. The last may be the reason that you havent heard of this movie but there are other ways to promote it. Netflix helps.
