Forced

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the movie, but as some other posters have pointed out, the last 10 minutes or so just happened way too fast.

I also thought the "love" they felt for each other seemed forced once they met face-to-face. It wasn't believable and I didn't really feel like there was anything great there. That's too bad, I really wanted to! lol Ah well, I liked it anyway.

Don't feed the trolls.

They never get enough to eat.

that person doesn't seem to be trolling here, just being very sad.

I thought it was as lovely and that they were like soul mates who had got to know each other gradually by spending 'so much time together' and talking continually.
In a way I would have liked to see more of their relationship as they seemed so right together- but really the film was better ending there, with the train taking them to new adventures and sadly an unsure future...

including the second where he went out & flipped the steaks & they were already obviously done but he just leaves them on the grill & doesn't kill the fire. Yeah, right. The parole officer claims he is a smart guy.

When he walked away with the steaks still cooking, I thought "OK, so in a while, he'll come back to find them burned to a crisp & that'll be the final humiliation after a disastrous date."

BINGO!

It is obviously already done. Too thick, hint hint. Things keep "cooking" even after you turn the heat off. So, he just walks away and doesn't shut the heat off under ANYTHING.

REAL MEN are at the top of their game when they're under pressure like maybe on a 1st date. What were they supposed to be saying about this guy?

"Oh, he is conflicted because he loves the nut in NH." FORCED!!!!!!!!!!!

reply

Holy *beep* are you really trying to discuss the concept of "real men" on imdb? Take a step back and realize how silly you appear.
