No Ending (Spoilers)

Am I the only person bothered by the fact that this movie didn't have an ending? What the hell are they going to do now? just live in Canada as fugitives with no money or ID's or anything? Is everyone just going to forget that she escaped a mental institution? will her husband just forget about her? or that he is an escaped felon out on parole?

None of the conflicts in this film were resolved at all. There should have been at leadt 20 more minutes. Up until the ending I thought it was a great film but it just seemed like they couldn't figure out what to do next.

I am fine with it ending where it did. We are all supposed to think 'what now'? But the what now is left to our own imaginations and discussions on places like IMDb.

He got shot and sent back to prison for 10 more years. She went back to the looney bin. That would be a better ending??

It purposefully ended like this. There is no resolution. We are left to fill in the gaps/ hopefully their love will win through!

All of those people LOVE these kinds of endings ...

I don't CARE what would happen in the real world. This is a movie & I can make up any ending I want in my head. <insert Daily Affirmation here>

That's the point of it all. The true conflict in this film is that they've lived with each other almost all their lives, yet they've never met. This conflict was solved in the very last minute of the film. Everything else is just trifles and not important.

I felt that it ended satisfactorily with regard to the main storyline, that being their love story, but agree that there are problems with some of the practical matters being left hanging. My opinion, the real issue there isn't that it wasn't concluded, but that it went that far in the first place.

Once Dylan had been fired and Becky made the attempt to break up with him, he really didn't need any more impetus than that to go and see her. He could've just driven there without committing any more crimes. There was no need for us to be left with him in a position of being a fugitive, and her an escapee from involuntary commitment and committing spousal abuse for good measure. Not that I didn't enjoy seeing her punch that awful husband of hers, but that's a violent crime, and it didn't have to happen.

Other than this, it's a cute, sweet little romance with a fun fantasy element. It could've done without escapes and car chases just fine, and I think it would've worked better kept more simple, and without our protagonists winding up in such terrible positions.

Pretty sure he can say the brothers were forcing him to do a crine so he took there car to get away. As for her divorce but shes not gonna get any mkney in the split.
